Event Description:
International World Youth Day is an unbelievable weeklong spiritual journey where pilgrims from all over the world unite to share their faith. The event includes prayer, song, concerts, drama, sharing, liturgy, catechesis, and more!
World Youth Day Home is all of this rolled into a shorter period of time in a local setting! Pilgrims are given the opportunity to meet others from all over the area…and beyond…all while praying and connecting with the pilgrims celebrating in Madrid at that time!
Our World Youth Day Home Pilgrimage Begins at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Detroit. We will travel by bus to St. Peter in Mt. Clemens, walk to St. Louis in Clinton Township, and continue onto St. Hubert in Harrison Township. The Celebration will include an Evening Festival, Midnight Mass, as well as Morning Prayer at Metro Beach.
Registration Information:
Registration is $50.00 per participant, including transportation, meals and all event activities.
